Military Enlistment Opportunities

Enlistment Options

Keep in mind that the services offer two basic ways of joining: standard enlistment, in which you sign up and get started immediately, and delayed entry, in which you can sign up but postpone joining the military for a certain period (up to a year in most cases). Individual services may also offer other options, so check with your local recruiters for the latest options.

Visit the link below to get more information about the options that are offered by the different branches.

Branch Seals

U.S. Marine Corps

We make Marines. We win our nation's battles. We develop quality citizens. These are the promises the Marine Corps makes to our nation and to our Marines. They are the reason for our demanding recruit training process. They form our reputation as America's force in readiness and are honored through the reciprocal commitment, between the Marine and Marine Corps, expressed in our motto: SEMPER FIDELIS.

U.S. Navy

The mission of the Navy is to maintain, train and equip combat-ready Naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas.

U.S. Army

The Army, as one of the three military departments (Army, Navy and Air Force) reporting to the Department of Defense, is composed of two distinct and equally important components: the active component and the reserve components. The reserve components are the United States Army Reserve and the Army National Guard.

U.S. Air Force

The mission of the United States Air Force is to fly, fight and win in air, space and cyberspace. Our rich history and our vision guide our Airmen as we pursue our mission with excellence and integrity to become leaders, innovators and warriors.

U.S. Coast Guard

The Coast Guard is one of our nation’s five military services. Our motto—honor, respect, and devotion to duty—is the compass that guides our mission to defend and preserve the United States of America.

U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command

The command’s motto, “Freedom’s Front Door” symbolizes the command’s mission of determining the physical, mental and moral qualifications of every member of the armed services. There is no other door. Knocking on and walking through “Freedom’s Front Door” isn’t easy. While the door is open to everyone, only qualified applicants succeed

ASVAB TUTOR

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a multiple choice used to determine which Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and individual is most likely to excel in.  There are nine categories which are tested and each test is timed.  The ASVAB tutor is not affiliated with any military branch, but provides practice tests and study guides so that an individual can be better prepared before taking the test.
